Q: What is the biggest difference between a netting system and the SPECTO indoor system?

A: The SPECTO indoor is tensioned and impactable, allowing for maximization of turf usage. Traditional and anchored netting systems are not impactable and need to be several feet away from columns and walls. The SPECTO indoor system can be with 32” of permanent structure. 

 

Q: Is the SPECTO indoor system suitable for more than one sport? 

A; Yes, the SPECTO indoor system is suitable for a range of sports, including baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, and football. It can even be made suitable for golf with a few minor adjustments in the quoting and design phase. 

 

Q: How tall is the SPECTO indoor system?

A: The SPECTO indoor system can be as tall as needed. The tensioned, impactable portion of the SPECTO indoor system is always 8’ high. From that point upward we utilize sports netting to provide containment of the area. We’ve done systems as high as 60’ before. 

 

Q: What color is the SPECTO indoor system?

A: The SPECTO indoor system can be any number of colors, however we strongly recommend, and have only ever sold, black. One of the key selling features of the SPECTO system is that it can be seen through. Black provides the best visibility.
