  • Q: Is a three phase motor really better?

A: Yes, not only should it be more durable and have a better lifespan, it is also more efficient from an electrical usage standpoint. Most importantly, it provides a faster moving system, reducing turnaround time, while increasing programming and revenue options.

Q: What’s the difference between a top or bottom roll curtain and a pull-fold?

A: Grand Slam Safety utilizes a pull-fold curtain for longevity purposes. Often stitching rips along the top & bottom roll curtains due to the stress of the ballast on it. Our pull-fold curtains utilizes cables attached to a medium duty bottom ballast, evenly distributing the weight and force when raising or lowering the curtain. This means a longer lasting curtain, less down time, and less maintenance costs over time.

Q: Aren’t all motorized curtains really the same?

A: While any motorized curtain may “do the job”, we strive to exceed that thought at Grand Slam Safety. Our curtains won’t just do the job, but they’ll last longer, operate faster, and cost less over time.
